Shrope, Lewis F. (b. 18 SEP 1809, d. 10 MAY 1884)

Note: Buried in the Methodist Episcopal Churchyard at Norton, New
Jersey Lewis F. Shrope was a blacksmith and in his later years
he was a night watchman in Phillipsburg. In 1870 this family
is recorded on page 115 of the Federal census for Phillipsburg,
Warren County, New Jersey. The census was taken of 17 July,
1870. In 1880 they are recorded on page 2 of the Federal
census as living on Wahington street in the same place.
